Growtech, the biggest exhibition for the greenhouse industry opens its doors to visitors in Antalya on 24 November
Growtech 20th International Greenhouse, Agricultural Technology and Livestock Equipment Fair, world’s biggest exhibition for the greenhouse industry will be held at Antalya Anfaş Expo Center from 24-27 November 2021. 510 companies from 25 countries will exhibit at Growtech
Despite the world-wide challenging conditions, Turkey has a strong economy that continues to grow. According to the data provided by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Turkish agricultural sector stably grew in the last decade. Turkey ranked 1st in Europe and 7th in the world in agricultural production during 2005-2019 period. With its 790 thousand decare greenhouse assets, Turkey ranks 2nd in Europe and 4th in the world, in the greenhouse sector. Ranking among the top five countries in the production of over 30 products, Turkey exported 1982 different types of agricultural products to 205 countries in 2020.
The Turkish agriculture is breaking new records
According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), the sector performed an exportation of 19 billion 76 million 662 thousand dollars in the 10 month-period of 2021. This counts for an agricultural export rise of 19,2 percent when compared with the same period of the previous year. While the agricultural sector provided 14.9% of Turkey’s total exports in October 2021, it reached the highest export values of all time with an export of 2 billion 840 million 461 thousand dollars.

Growtech 20th International Greenhouse, Agricultural Technology and Livestock Equipment Fair will be held at Antalya Anfaş Expo Center between November 24 and 27, 2021. The exhibition will feature 5 main categories as; ‘Greenhouse & Irrigation Technologies’, ‘Seed’, ‘Plant Nutrition & Plant Protection’, ‘Agricultural Machinery’ and ‘Livestock Equipment”. Stating that the Growtech International Agricultural Fair attracts great attention this year, Er said; “This year 510 companies from 25 countries exhibit at Growtech. Our 60 thousand sqm venue of 6 halls are completely full. Companies from Spain, the Netherlands, and Hungary exhibit in their country pavilions. We organise a Hosted Buyer Program, which will continue the whole day of first day, with the support of West Mediterranean Exporters Association (BAİB) at our venue. Thanks to our strength in agriculture, there are many new market opportunities to explore.
