UNICA promises farmers a future
In situations as difficult as the current one for the agricultural sector, with such high production and transport costs and the uncertainty deriving from the geopolitical situation, it is vital to belong to a strong and solvent group. This is the starting point of the communication campaign, Unica Belongs to Me, focused on farmers.
Francisco Martín Galdeano, president of the Cabasc cooperative and one of the founders of UNICA, said that being part of UNICA has only had advantages: “From the day the project was born, the cooperatives have participated in all the decisions that are made. It provides transparency, both in sales to supermarkets and in what is paid to the farmer. We have managed to grow with UNICA, to be more competitive, without losing our essence”.
