El Mosca opens new 100,000 m2 storage centre

El Mosca is currently building a 100,000 m² storage facility, certified in accordance with energy efficiency criteria. The new smart warehouse will have a capacity for more than 40,000 pallets divided into zones, 25,000 m² for dry storage, 11,000 m² for refrigerated storage and 6,000 m² for a frozen warehouse, all of which will feature different degrees of automation. With these new facilities, the group is completing its suite of logistics services from cold cargo to multimodal transport, without breaking the cold chain. In addition, the facilities have 100 loading docks, solar panels to allow self-generated electricity, an exclusive restaurant for employees and drivers, and a building with various corporate offices that will be operational by the third quarter of this year.
