FOOD EXPO LATAM to continue until May 31, 2021
Millions of exporters in Latin America linked to the food industry now have the possibility of participating at FOOD EXPO LATAM, the largest virtual fair of the food sector ever organised in the region. The event, which is held from May 31 2020 to the same date next year, has managed to bring together 350 exporting companies with nearly a thousand products exhibited, along with two hundred buyers officially registered buyers. It also has the growing support of chambers of commerce, trade and industry ministries, export and investment promotion agencies, and producer and exporter associations from more than 10 countries, as well as the outstanding collaboration of the World Fair Trade Organization (World Fair Trade Organization).
Registration on the virtual platform is free and guarantees total visibility to the exporter and its products. To enable buying and selling processes between the participants, ‘business rounds’ are set up at an average cost of US$250. These meetings are organised periodically, and are focused on different markets for the following categories of products: Fresh and processed foods; Fish and shellfish; Cocoa, chocolate and coffee; Grains and nuts; Containers and packaging; Beverages and spirits; Fruits and vegetables; Services for the industry; and Machinery and technology.
“We are offering the most economical solution to a growing number of entrepreneurs, without travel, without investments, and, above all, free from all kinds of dangers, guaranteeing equal opportunities for all,” said Olesya Guseva, CEO of OLÉB2B, the company e-commerce matrix creator of the virtual fair FOOD EXPO LATAM.
