When biological control organisms (OCB) are released in crops through traditional systems, such as manual distribution directly on the plants from cans or containers or by placing a large number of controlled release envelopes, it takes a long time and the distribution is usually not as homogeneous as desired. In order to make these releases more comfortable, fast, accurate and efficient, Bioline has worked on one of its pillars of innovation: the development of release systems that allow users to apply faster with the consequent labour savings, simplicity and comfort to facilitate work, a direct and localised distribution of the product in the affected areas, greater protection against adverse conditions.
With these exclusive systems, Bioline Iberia has achieved an increase in the quality, efficiency and establishment of organisms able to adapt to any cultivation system, as well as in sustainability and respect for the environment.
Other exclusive controlled release systems are:
Gemini® Envelopes: These are twin envelopes joined at the top, which are especially recommended in outdoor crops or with a horizontal trellis system, and which are resistant to water and other inclement weather, allowing them to be fixed in fruit crops and avoid falling.
Bugline®: They are strips of rolled envelopes that slide over the crop manually or mechanically and that guarantee significant labour saving, as well as a better distribution and establishment of predatory mites.
Stick envelopes: These are envelopes that incorporate a stick at the bottom to be nailed directly to the substrate. They are especially suitable for propagation trays for crops and pots for ornamental plants.
