With just over a month to go to Fruit Logistica, the event’s organisers have announced an easing of entry requirements for participants. Visitors now require proof of vaccination or of having recovered from Covid-19, or they must hold a negative PCR test that is no more than 48 hours old. Mask mandates in the display halls or on public transportation will remain in place.
In a statement, the organisers stressed the importance of holding an in-person event, as interest is at a high for such opportunities. More than 3,300 exhibitors from 91 countries presented their products, services and technical solutions at Fruit Logistica 2020, and there were about 73,000 vendors and trade visitors from 135 countries.
