Gold for Reybanpac in Export Awards 2021

Guayaquil, November 25. Reybanpac, producer and exporter of premium bananas from Ecuador, obtained first place in the category Large Exporting Company of traditional goods at the award ceremony held by the Ecuadorian Federation of Exporters – Fedexpor.
The award aims to recognize best practices in the export of goods and services. For the process, which was audited by Grant Thorton, the Evaluation Committee qualified the nominated companies taking into consideration aspects such as participation and growth in exports, job creation, sustainable and environmental practices, social responsibility, investment in innovation and infrastructure for the improvement of processes, certifications and market diversification.
Reybanpac, whose flagship brand is the Favorita banana, has an export volume of over 27 million boxes per year. It exports its product to 26 destinations, its main markets being the European Union, Russia, the Middle East and Asia. In 2021, the company obtained carbon neutral certification for its banana operation, from cradle to gate.
