Brazil’s orange crop is forecast to grow by 7% Y-O-Y in the 2020/21 campaign, according to USDA data. The higher volume of 390.8 million 40.8-kg boxes (MBx) (15.9 million tons) comes despite adverse weather conditions, and is due to some extent to it being an on-year. Total Brazilian FCOJ 65 Brix equivalent exports for 2020/21 are forecast to remain relatively stable at just over 1 million tons, an increase of 18,000 tons compared to MY 2019/20.
