Peru will soon be able to export citrus and blueberries to India. If all goes well, once the consultation period has concluded, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare of India will announce the phytosanitary requirements for shipments of mandarins, oranges, lemons, grapefruits and blueberries from Peru.
National Head of Senasa, Miguel Quevedo, said: “We remain committed to the agrarian development of the country; in this case, with the opening of new markets for national production, offering our farmers more market opportunities and alternatives for marketing.”
