Schwarz Group posts 10% rise in turnover

Schwarz Group, which owns Lidl and Kaufland, saw turnover increase by 10% in 2020 to €125.3 billion. Lidl recorded 9.9% turnover growth to €96.3 billion, while Kaufland’s revenues were up by 7.5% to €25.5 billion. 

According to a press release by the Schwarz Group, the achievement is due to its highly motivated 500,000 employees and stable delivery procedures, which allowed the group to ensure supplies in 12,900 branches during the pandemic.
