QS facilitates easy and reliable transparency

Wholesalers and brokers can now combine QS and IFS audits. In early 2021, QS launched a project for cross-audit checking, which uses the QS scheme to verify reliability and traceability in the individual stages from farm to shop. In order to make authentication more fluid, all of the relevant documents are marked with QS and QS-G.A.P. certification. “Producers in the QS scheme have already successfully implemented a wide range of sustainability measures for years,” said Wilfried Kamphausen, head of the fruit, vegetables, potatoes division at QS. Around 9,000 producers in Germany and more than 4,900 farms elsewhere in Europe participate in the QS scheme.
